About me

I’ve spent more than 20 years working in construction—building, repairing, and improving homes of all sizes. Along the way, I learned that the small details matter just as much as the big ones, and that clear communication makes every project smoother. With formal education in both finance and construction, I’m able to approach every repair with a focus on structural integrity, cost efficiency, and long-term value.

In addition to residential work, I’ve contributed to complex commercial projects alongside engineers, architects, and multiple trades. That experience gives me a strong foundation in organization, scheduling, and problem-solving—skills I now bring into home improvement projects.

I started HouseHandy Home Improvements to offer homeowners reliable, high-quality repairs and small renovations without the hassle or uncertainty. My focus is simple: show up on time, do clean work, and solve problems the right way, the first time.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me reviewing plans early on site or enjoying the outdoors on Vancouver Island. I take pride in building strong relationships with clients and treating every home as if it were my own.
